This WAS one of my favorite apps. An update in July simply ruined it. Took away a great look and customizable features and the option to search "scanners near me". Really disappointed in the upgrade. It looks so bland youd think its a retro-app. Honestly, if they IMPROVE these improvements Im shopping for a new scanner app.

Bring back the ability to find nearby scanners without having to figure out what county youre currently in (especially useful when traveling).

Works well, even usingvoiceover. Or at least it did. with the advent of the "instant replay" feature, a couple of buttons dealing with the instant replay were introduced that VoiceOver couldnt interpret, i.e., the buttons werent properly labeled. Under iOS5, one can label these buttons and I gave them labels that I thought indicated their function. But when this latest version came out, those labels no longer were present so I will have to relabel them. Irritating from my vantage point. I would have put this in feedback rather than a review but I cant get the Feedback button to work with VoiceOver -- or at least it sits there saying "in progress", apparently forever, and I cant leave feedback. Guys, you have visually impaired customers, too! Latest version does not work so well with voiceover. I cant figure out how to add favorites. Some of the buttons dont appear to work with voiceover. I hate it !!!!! The old one had a left/right slide that would toggle between tac1 and main dispatch. Now they just talk over each other, cant hear whats taking place

This app USED to be superb...what on earth makes this an improvement? This last update/redesign is ridiculous. Features have been removed, its no longer intuitive and is a pain to use. Ive removed it. Very disappointed.

Please change I really do not want to start off with Chicago. As a default. Can you please tell me if theres going to be an update soon this was my favorite scanner

Good app, and it lets you save recordings, which is its best feature. However: - On the new interface, theres no volume slider, so the only option is using the phones volume buttons. - There is no way to edit the order of saved favorites. It would be nice to be able to personalize the list. - It always starts up on Chicago PD. It should start up with the Favorites tab. - At around the 20 minute mark of listening, the feed gets choppy, so Im forced to restart it. Itd be a five star app if the above issues were fixed. It was much better before the update.

No scanners in my area. One in major city 30 minutes away. Should offer list of areas before you purchase. Waste of money unless you are in a major city.

They took out the Sleep timer/Alarm feature and also took out the ability to separate channels. So now some channels talk over each other and its hard to hear what theyre saying. I suggest getting another police scanner app instead like 5-0 Radio or Police Scanner+. The others offer more features.

Is there a single thing in this upgrade that is an actual improvement? Youve taken away the left/right channel isolation, taken away scanners near me, made it extremely difficult/impossible to disable streaming of phones Bluetooth is on. My advice: get in a time machine, go back that 2 years that you bragged this version took to write, and implore the past versions of yourselves to not ruin what was once a great app! And my God have mercy on your souls.

This used to be a great scanner app but it has been downhill for me since last summers update. Its not reliable in the background and has to be constantly restarted. I tried to go to the developers website but it wont load.

I really enjoyed this app until the last update. I am not the kind of person who fears interface change, or even feature simplification, but the most recent update - which the developer for some reason seems so proud of - pretty much just took away half the features like "scanners near me", and hid many of the others like the ability to mute one channel (L or R) for stereo feeds very deep in the program. After days of searching and fiddling, I still cant figure out how to set a specific scanner to be my default on startup. It might be time to find a new scanner app, which is really quite a shame since this used to be such a good one.

Used to be my favorite scanner until the update. Dont like the interface. Want to set my default but cant find that. Still no sleep timer. All scanners are pixelated and cant understand anything they are saying. Needs a lot of work but for now looking for alternatives

Its not optimized for ios7. It feels the developer no longer cares about this app. Dont download. Waste of money.

I would give this app a five star rating but it still doesnt haven iPhone 5 support and needs iOS 7 control. I keep wanting to stop the feed by control center like every other app and it doesnt work. Please bring up to iOS 7 standards. Thanks.

Upgraded to Pro to receive Melbourne fl police as advertised. Has not been online since purchase. Feel ripped of.
